ASPHALT RECYCLE PROJECT Scope of work
Recycled Asphalt Paving: Single Mill Process: 18,035 Square Feet &

 Barricade area.

  Mill (pulverize) recycle existing failed asphalt to a depth of 10", adding Portland
      cement at a rate of 45 lbs. per square yard, haul excess materials to approved,
      dump site. Water and compact to 95% density.

 Finish back to existing grade for overlay.
 Apply a tack coat of SS-1 to pavement surface for adhesion purposes.

  Overlay area with 2” of Texas Highway Department approved Type "D" asphalt,
     compacted and graded to existing pavement.

  After initial compacting with a dual drum steel wheel vibratory roller, second phase
     of compacting will be done with a pneumatic roller until a smooth, tight finish is
     achieved.

 Install 40 new wheel stops and reset wheel stops.

 Restripe new asphalt area.
