PROJECT – Parking Lots

Scope of work:
Recycled Asphalt Paving with two (2) inches, Included: Two (2) Parking Lots BLDG G (Church Office), Cathedral Parking lots, Asphalt and the additional 1000 sf in front of the two-story brick building North of the Church Office

Process:
 Barricade area.
 Mill (pulverize) GRIND UP existing failed asphalt to a depth of 10", adding
    Portland cement at a rate of 45 lbs. per square yard, haul excess materials
    to approved dump site.
 Excavate electric line area for install by others
 Grade to move water from rear of CHURCH OFFICE
 CONSTRUCT ASPHALT H/C RAMP TO REAR DOOR ENTRY
 Water and compact to 95% density.
 Finish to below existing grade of 2” for overlay
 Apply a tack coat of SS-1 to pavement surface for adhesion purposes.
 Overlay area with 2” of Texas Highway Department approved Type "D" asphalt
    and graded to match existing concrete pavement.
 Clean and overlay City Easement area with 1 1/2” of Texas Highway Department
    approved Type "D" asphalt and graded to match existing concrete pavement.
 After initial compacting with a dual drum steel wheel vibratory roller,
    second phase of compacting will be done with a pneumatic roller until a
    smooth, tight finish is achieved.
 Repaint all paint lines and markings; line, fire lanes, curbing, H/C
    logos with Standard Paint Company’s 100% Premium Acrylic Zone Marking Paint

Sealcoat
ALL Asphalt between BLDG G, The Two-Story, Parking lots, BLDG A and THE NEW ASPHALT PARKING LOTS ABOVE

 Remove cracked up asphalt – apply new and compact
 Barricade, clean and sweep lot to prepare for coating
 Crack fill with rubberized asphalt crack filler (500 lf)
 Squeegee Seal Coat first coat with Coal Tar sealer adding 1-2 lbs of sand per
    gallon plus 2% Laytex additive to fill cracks and provide a thorough
    first bond coat.
 Spay second coat
 Repaint all paint lines and markings; line, fire lanes, curbing, H/C logos
    with Standard Paint Company’s 100% Premium Acrylic Zone Marking
    Paint for New Sealer ( This paint meets or exceeds performance
    requirements set forth by Texas D.O.T. as well as Federal D.O.T.
    exceeding the life/wear of traditional Alkyd and/or Rubber Based Paints )
